Tommy McLaughlin - Technical Director

Tommy is Big Red’s Technical Director, and leads the software development team behind all of our projects.

Tommy has worked in software development since leaving college. He left with an HND in Computer Processing, and has since gone on to achieve an MBA from Glasgow University. Initially he focussed on developing accounting and ERP systems for our CEO’s first business.

Tommy diversified over the years and has been working for Big Red Digital, and its predecessor companies, for the past 30 years. He is at the forefront of software development techniques and was instrumental in the development of our own Big Red Platform, and all its component parts.

Tommy's most recent development has been adding App Development to our portfolio, and works proactively with our customers to ensure Big Red is one step ahead.
