Scoping
Imperative to the success of the project, a meeting takes place with key personnel to finalise the scope of the platform. This must realise all the outcomes that your business needs to achieve. Key areas we focus on include user experience (UX), content, integration with external systems, technical requirements of the system and a launch plan.
The information gathered during this process will allow us to produce and share an implementation document with you, that creates a roadmap for the project.
Development Commences
Using the key information gained, we build the bespoke Smart Red Platform for your business. The core development process takes approx. 6 weeks before uploading information to a test environment.
UX & Design
It is vital that this platform engages users from the outset to realise the self-service element of the platform. The design of all screens will drive this engagement.
Our designers work directly alongside our developers to implement visually appealing, on brand, user journeys resulting in an intuitive platform for all users.
Testing
The success of the platform will be measured by its usability. Therefore, testing becomes the most important process prior to launch. Our development team will have tested the core software and functionality prior to loading the platform to its test environment, but real user testing is the most valuable feedback. We encourage your team to test all elements of the system to gather feedback which will be continually tweaked, until all parties are happy with the platform.
There is no definitive timescale for this stage, but as a guideline we expect this to take 4-6 weeks.
Go Live
After every step is carried out, and you are happy with look and functionality of the platform, we do the most exciting part - it goes live! This will be done as per the agreed launch plan, which may be a gradual or full launch.
A Starter's Guide and Tutorials will be sent to you to remind you of the key elements of managing the entire platform.
Support
Being covered by our comprehensive annual support package allows us to fully support your platform, as well as your team, on all aspects of the admin system. This gives you peace of mind knowing that your investment is fully protected both now and in the future. This also ensures that your platform is continually maintained in line with latest technical thinking and good practice.
